With his lifted chin, knowing side-eye, and impressive tail feathers, this rooster isn’t asking for attention. He’s fairly certain he already has it.

With half-lidded eyes, a suspiciously confident expression, and one very large hook, this colorful little worm appears to be weighing his options. He knows the risk. He sees the hook. And yet... here we are.

Wild & Untamed is the third piece in Jennifer Narr's Wild Series—a collection about resilience, identity, self-expression, and embracing who you are without apology.
This original acrylic painting on canvas is about letting go of holding back and stepping fully into who you are without softening or shrinking. It carries a sense of freedom, movement, and raw expression, where everything is allowed to exist exactly as it is.

For a long time, I thought belonging meant being who other people needed me to be, following the expected path, and keeping the wilder parts of myself under control.
But there comes a point when you realize you were never meant to live inside someone else's expectations.
Wild & Untamed is about releasing the need for approval and trusting the voice within you, even when it leads you somewhere unexpected.
I painted this for the woman who is done shrinking herself to fit, ready to follow her own path, and finally free to become exactly who she was meant to be.

Awakening is an original mixed media artwork from Jennifer Narr's Bird's Eye View Series and Electric Botanicals Series—a vibrant exploration of creativity, resilience, growth, and what happens when we begin to fully come alive.
Layer upon layer of textured petals radiate outward from a deep electric-blue center, moving through violet, magenta, crimson, and fiery red. The bold colors and dimensional surface create the feeling of a flower expanding beyond the boundaries of the canvas.
Flecks of gold travel through the natural cracks and ridges of the surface, inspired by the Japanese art of kintsugi, where broken places are honored rather than hidden.

Inner Light is an original mixed media artwork from Jennifer Narr's Bird's Eye View Series and Electric Botanicals Series. It is a reminder that even when life feels layered, complicated, or uncertain, there is still something bright within us.
Layers of deep violet, electric purple, turquoise, and blue radiate outward from a luminous center, creating a flower that feels almost alive with energy. Heavy molding paste gives each petal dimension, while watercolor glaze, heavy body acrylic, and oil pastel build rich layers of color, texture, and movement.
