Slightly Cocky Original Painting

Slightly Cocky is what happens when confidence enters the room… and assumes everyone was waiting for it.

With his lifted chin, knowing side-eye, and impressive tail feathers, this rooster isn’t asking for attention. He’s fairly certain he already has it.

Created with layers of heavy body acrylic paint on canvas, Slightly Cocky combines rich texture with bold color. Raised ridges catch contrasting pops of paint, giving the background as much personality as the bird himself. Loose brushwork and scraped marks bring the energetic, imperfect character found throughout The Slightly Series.

Created as a companion to Slightly Unbothered, Slightly Concerned, and Slightly Tempting, this one-of-a-kind original artwork celebrates that fine line between healthy confidence and being just a little too pleased with yourself.
