Wild & Rooted Original Painting

Wild & Rooted is the first piece in Jennifer Narr's Wild Series,a collection exploring resilience, identity, growth, and the courage to become fully yourself.

This original acrylic painting on canvas is about being grounded while still growing, holding steady in who you are while continuing to reach for more. Bold lines bring strength and structure to the composition, while layered colors and expressive movement keep the piece feeling alive and evolving.

There is an energy to Wild & Rooted that feels both calming and powerful, making it a beautiful statement piece for any space.

For a long time, I thought I needed to find my way back to the life, relationships, and places that once felt familiar.

But there comes a point when you realize you aren't lost. You may simply be trying to grow in soil that can no longer nourish you.

Wild & Rooted is about discovering what truly grounds you and choosing to grow where you are supported, valued, and free to become yourself.

I painted this for the woman who has lived through change, found strength in unexpected places, and finally realized that home was never somewhere she needed to return to. It was something she could find within herself.
