Slightly Tempting

Original Painting | 24" × 30" × 1.5" | Heavy Body Acrylic on Canvas

Slightly Tempting is what happens when you know something might be a bad idea... but you're still thinking about it.

With half-lidded eyes, a suspiciously confident expression, and one very large hook, this colorful little worm appears to be weighing his options. He knows the risk. He sees the hook. And yet... here we are.

Created with layers of heavy body acrylic paint on canvas, Slightly Tempting combines rich texture with bold orange, turquoise, gold, cream, and deep blue. Scraped marks and loose brushwork give this original acrylic painting the energetic, imperfect personality found throughout The Slightly Series.

Created as a companion to Slightly Unbothered and Slightly Concerned, this one-of-a-kind original artwork celebrates those moments when curiosity, temptation, and questionable decision-making get the best of us.
